Quality Team Member

Position Description

Technical Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post secondary education preferred
• Must have experience with quality in a mechanical manufacturing environment (machining or assembly)
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience in using measuring tools such as micrometer, vernier, height gauge, depth gauge, shadow graph, bore gauge
• CMM experience preferred.
• Technical role that requires advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance

Interpersonal Skills Required:

• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced changing environment
• Must have a strong sense of teamwork within the organization
• Must be detail-oriented and have effective communication skills
• Possess strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong problem solving skills and able to use reasoning and creativity skills
• Must be motivated to improve oneself and suggest improvements for the company’s processes
• Demonstrate initiative and have excellent time management skills
• Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn quickly and be self motivated in a dynamic environment.
