Junior Maintenance Technician

Position Description

Technical Skills Required:

 Must have completed Industrial Millwright education
 Experience with hand and power tools for welding and fabrication
 Attention to detail
 Ability to take on heavy work load
 Able to assist with pneumatic installations and perform mechanical repairs/general maintenance
 Fast paced, ability to prioritize tasks
 Able to follow directions and strong prioritization skills
 Employer willing to invest in appropriate person for technical certification

Interpersonal Skills Required:

• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced changing environment
• Must have a strong sense of teamwork across the organization
• Must be detail-oriented and have effective communication skills
• Possess strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong problem solving skills and able to use reasoning and creativity skills
• Must be motivated to improve oneself and suggest improvements for the company’s processes
• Demonstrate initiative and have excellent time management skills
• Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to learn quickly and be self motivated in a dynamic environment.
