Wage: $14.00 + shift premium

Hours of Work:
12 hour continental shifts; rotational shifts (2 weeks on days and then 2 weeks on nights)

CNC Machinists (10-15 positions)

Position Description

Technical Skills Required:

• Machinist Trade Certificate (schooling) or minimum one year related machining (lathes or mills with metal)
• Unrelated machining would also include grinding, drilling, robotics and machining non-metal parts (fiberglass, plastic etc)
• Employer works in aluminum and titanium but individuals who have worked with steel, cast iron and other exotic metals are acceptable as well
• Best fit is with CNC milling machines (90% of what employer does is high speed milling)
• Position requires wearing a respirator
• Physical ability as some heavy lifting required (all under Health and Safety Regulations)
• Able to read and write English
• Able to understand verbal instructions and interpret work orders
• Requires individuals who have relatively long term employment in past companies (2-3 years or more in at least one of the last few positions listed on their resume)
• Related CNC experience (see above)
• Must be able to work continental shifts or have worked these shifts in the past-*Must have own transportation or reliable ride to/from work-as there is no bus service on weekends for the rotational shifts*
